Flower Arranging for the Home

Pretty flower arrangements can cheer up any room. Have you ever put flowers in a vase and they just don’t sit right? Have you ever looked at a flower arrangement and thought I wish I could arrange flowers like that? In this four-week course, you will learn tips and tricks on how to get the best out of your flowers and containers you use around your home. Our award-winning florist will share her knowledge and skills in bringing the beauty of nature indoors. Materials list available at time of enrolment.
The Scribe Tribe

The Scribe Tribe is a long established writing group at the Balla Balla Community Centre for those who write or have ever dreamed of writing. This fortnightly writing group is
designed for writers to engage in sharing their experiences with other like-minded writers. The act of reading our stories to others can be a healing and powerful experience.
Facilitated by a published author and creative writing expert, you will be invited to share your writing and to have your work openly reviewed and improved within the group.

Would you like to learn ways to deal with stress and improve your mental health?
BE WELL is a fun & interactive information session that aims to increase people’s understanding about what the term ‘mental health’ really means and what are the most effective ways to develop good mental health and wellbeing. The talk draws on the latest mental health research and will be presented by Troy Macris from the City of Casey. The information session is suitable for anyone in the community who would like to learn more about how to ’Be Well’ on an everyday basis. Come and ask questions and engage in discussion along the way. Afternoon tea provided.

A solution-focused parenting group for all parents.
Do you feel isolated or alone? Come along and discover you are not alone. Connect with other local parents to discuss being a parent in 2018 in Australia. How can we discipline children? Where do we go for advice? How can we ensure children use technology properly?
