Everyone knows that the ukulele is one of the most popular and easiest instruments that kids want to play. Did you know that we have our very own kids’ ukulele club right here at Balla Balla Community Centre?
Catering for absolute beginners through to kids who want more of a challenge, our instructors make learning the ukulele fun. We also provide performance opportunities for kids that want to take their ukulele to the next level. Why not come and try (One Time) – $5

Paint Your Art Out – Kids Art Program – 6 years +
Thursday 1st August for 8 weeks |4.30pm – 6.00pm Cost: $40
Inspired by the idea of just having FUN, ‘paint your art out’ is a creative and colourful approach to creating art. With relaxed classes and all age activities, join us as we explore basic colour mixing, different and unusual materials, paint tools and techniques to create our own works of art.

Wednesday 17th July for 10 weeks |10.30am – 11.30am
The need for warm winter woollies is greater than ever. Come and learn the art of knitting and at the same time you will be helping others in need in our community.
Learn to make scarves, beanies, blankets and much more.
We will provide you with all that you need: wool, patterns and needles.
Friday 19th July for 10 weeks | 1.00pm—3.00pm

Have an unfinished projects that you are looking for the inspiration to complete? Why not join this self paced workshop to finish, or even start your personal craft projects, whilst meeting new people in a friendly space.
Boomerang Bag Project (Volunteers required)
Tuesday 16th July for 10 weeks | 9.30am—12.30pm
Session Cost: FREE
Why not get involved – join us on a weekly basis to make these sustainable bags that we can then donate on to local support organisations who would normally use plastic bags. It does not matter if you can or cannot sew. Come along and join this self paced, fun group. Learn new skills and make new friends.
All materials will be supplied. We do have some sewing machines but if you have one please bring it along.
