Living Longer, Living Stronger – Strength Training
Monday 4th February for 8 weeks | 1.00pm – 1.30pm
Guided by an instructor from Casey RACE, the session will go through fundamental functional exercises, to help improve overall strength, endurance and core strength, using body weight exercises and resistance bands. The structured program will aim to develop balance and coordination and assist in activities from everyday life.
Living Longer, Living Stronger – Stretch Classes

Guided by an instructor from Casey RACE, this class will focus on improving flexibility, and is a great way to unwind and relax. The sessions are a great way for the participants to meet and interact with each others, and get to know and understand why exercise is such an important addition to everyone’s day to day routine
‘Chill Out’ Workshop
Thursday 7th March | 10.00am – 11.30am
Explores the concept of stress in more detail and presents effective strategies for working through stressful problems and developing healthy relaxation habits.
Topics covered include:
- Understanding stress in terms of the ‘fight or flight’ response
- The benefits of mild stress, and the harmful impacts of chronic stress
- How to identify the signs and triggers of chronic stress
- How to work through stressful problems and situations
- How to maintain healthy relaxation habits.
Free – Meditate For a Joyful, Healthy & Purposeful Life
Saturday – TBA | 2.00pm – 3.30pm
Pre-requisite – Weekly sessions – Your commitment and willingness to practice meditation for 5 weeks so that you can reap the benefits to the fullest.
Each week you will have a guided meditation, plus learn other meditation techniques. There will be talks from guest speakers on various topics.

Tai Chi is a gently, low-energy, physical – the slow movements strengthens muscles, conditions tendons and ligaments in the ankles, knees, hips and spine. Beneficial for many health conditions, including arthritis, and helps to increase stamina, strengthen the body and mind, and ease stress.
