This group session will include guidance and instruction in the practices of meditation and contemplation. Come along and enjoy the benefits of meditation such as wellbeing and peace of mind. ‘Untangling Menta Health’

In this session, you will be provided with an overview of key facts and concepts in mental health as well as practical tips and advice on how to recognize and provide appropriate assistance to people who may be affected by mental health problems in one’s personal and professional life.

This beautiful, sensual dance form is one of the oldest in the world. Have fun in this class and learn new dance moves that will make you wiggle, giggle and jiggle in ways that you never thought you could. You will also gain these physical benefits; posture, poise, grace, strengthen lower back, thighs, pelvic floor, tummy muscles and arms. The class is for Beginners to Intermediate. A wonderful way to start your week! Wear comfy clothes. We learn in bare feet.

Living Longer, Living Stronger – Strength Training
Monday 7th October for 10 weeks | 1.00pm – 1.30pm
Cost: $3 per session
Guided by an instructor from Casey RACE, the session will go through fundamental functional exercises, to help improve overall strength, endurance and core strength, using body weight exercises and resistance bands. The structured program will aim to develop balance and coordination and assist in activities from everyday life.
Living Longer, Living Stronger – Stretch Classes
Monday 7th October for 10 weeks | 1.30pm – 2.00pm
Cost: $3 per session
Guided by an instructor from Casey RACE, this class will focus on improving flexibility, and is a great way to unwind and relax. The sessions are a great way for the participants to meet and interact with each others, and get to know and understand why exercise is such an important addition to everyone’s day to day routine

Tai Chi is a gently, low-energy, physical – the slow movements strengthens muscles, conditions tendons and ligaments in the ankles, knees, hips and spine. Beneficial for many health conditions, including arthritis, and helps to increase stamina, strengthen the body and mind, and ease stress.
