Bunjil Place Tour — Limited Spaces Available

Join us on this guided tour (bus trip included) of Bunjil Place (City of Casey). This tour will take you on a journey through this state of the art facility, and explain how it all came to be. We will visit the community plaza, memorial grove, library, entertainment space and much more. At the end of the tour we will have morning tea at Bunjil Place’s coffee shop (at own cost). Leaving Balla Balla Community Centre at 9:30 am for a 10:30am tour.
Introduction to Creative Writing (Free)

This is a fun, informative introduction to creative writing suited to people who are interested in writing, but are unsure how to get started. In a relaxed and encouraging environment you’ll be able to get a better understanding of the creative process, learn to create compelling characters, write powerful dialogue and know the right way to structure your story. Come along to this free introductory session and then jump right in to our Creative Writing Workshops course.
Creative Writing Workshops
Tuesday 8th May for 8 weeks | 1.00pm – 3.00pm
Join us for 8 weeks to explore the ways in which creative writer’s work, from inspiration to publication. Looking at where ideas come from, how to develop them and how to overcome blocks and obstacles. Learn how to get the most out of imagery and metaphor, how to plot, create dialogue, point of view, story arcs and character development and the basics of editing.
In a relaxing workshop environment, you’ll be able to share your work and ask your peers for help and support. Workshops include take-home exercises and assignments to complete and, at the end of this course, you will be introduced to invaluable resources for writers and understand the publishing process.
Natural Body & Face Moisturiser Workshop

Learn the method of preparing and combining all natural ingredients to create a healthy face and body moisturiser for yourself, as a gift, or to start your own business. Each participant will take home a 30 ml jar of each moisturiser, the recipes and lots of great ideas.
