  • Community Arts Project

    This amazing community art piece was part of the activities for Australia Day 2018. This amazing art work was designed by local artist, Sohail Yamin, with involvement from the local community.
  • Our facilitated playgroup provides an opportunity for your child to learn through socialising and playing with other children in a fun and safe environment. Our early learning educator organises weekly arts and crafts, song, dance and storytimes along with sensory play and new activities every week. Playgroup teaches children valuable skills for life.

  • The Cultural Ecology of Cranbourne artwork created by Boon Wurrung artist Adam Magennis includes ten metal panels depicting the landscape, flora, fauna and natural resources of the region where 2000 generations of Boon Wurrung and Wurundjeri families gathered.

  • Learn how to make a Galaxy Cake

    Come to the dark (and delicious) side and learn how to make the cake technique that is taking the internet by storm. Learn how to master the ultra-shiny, mirror top finish that is truly 'out of this world'.
  • Balla Balla Ukes

    This fun and friendly Ukulele Group is for ages 8 - 100+. The group caters for those wanting to learn at the beginning through to Maiestros, who are competent in playing. Broken up into a series of group learning chords, scales, strumming and other techniques.
  • The Scribe Tribe Book

    This book has been written by a group of writers from Balla Balla. This collection of short stories and poems have been put together in this anthology. Books can be purchased through Amazon for $20.

About Us

Welcome to Balla Balla Community Centre. The Centre is a great way to connect with people and the community through participating in the many activities and opportunities that we offer.

We are a not-for-profit community-based Incorporated Association whose purpose is to provide a positive, safe and inclusive environment where the community can come together to engage in activities and opportunities that enhance community connections, health and social well being.

We aim to foster community spirit and provide opportunities for personal and community strengthening and learning.
