Meditation –Time to be, Present, Aware, Carefree

The COVID pandemic and subsequent lockdowns have had an impact on our health and well-being. Meditation can help us with guidance and tools to stay positive and resilient during uncertain times. This group session will include guidance and instruction in the practices of meditation and contemplation.
Enjoy the benefits of meditation such as wellbeing and peace of mind. Beginner and experienced meditators welcome.
Living Longer, Living Stronger – Strength and Stretch Training
Monday 11th July for 10 weeks | 1.00pm – 2.00pm
Cost: $50 ($5 per session)
Wednesday 13th July for 10 weeks | 1.00pm – 2.00pm
Cost: $50 ($5 per session)
Guided by a Casey RACE qualified instructor the session will go through fundamental functional exercises, to help improve overall strength, endurance and core strength, using body weight exercises and resistance bands. The structured program will aim to develop balance and coordination, flexibility and assist in activities from everyday life.
A great way for the participants to meet and interact with each other, and get to know and understand why exercise is such an important addition to everyone’s day to day routine
Pilates

Tai Chi Beginners & Intermediate
Wednesday 13th July for 10 weeks
Beginners | 11.30pm—12.30pm | $60
Intermediate | 9.30am – 11.00am | $70
Tai Chi is a gentle, low-energy, physical exercise – the slow movements strengthens muscles, conditions tendons and ligaments in the ankles, knees, hips and spine. Beneficial for many health conditions, including arthritis, and helps to increase stamina, strengthen the body and mind, and ease stress. Please wear comfy clothing & runners and bring along a water bottle.

Heart Foundation Walk & Talk Group (Free)
Tuesday 12th July | 9.30am – 11.00am
Walk & Talk is a FREE weekly walking group that meets at Balla Balla every Tuesday. Enjoy great self-paced walks, learn more about your neighborhood , meet new people in your area and get fit. Stay on after to enjoy a coffee and a chat.
Yoga
Thursday 14th July for 10 weeks | 5.30pm – 6.45pm or 7.00pm – 8.15pm
Cost: $80
Yoga gives you the tools to enable your actions to align with your deepest values and purpose. Our qualified instructor will lead you through a classical yoga session incorporating breathing and meditation. Through the consistent practice of yoga you can expect to feel stronger, more flexible, less stressed and balanced both mentally and emotionally. Wear loose comfortable clothing. Bring your own mat, blanket and water bottle.
