Everyone knows that the ukulele is one of the most popular and easiest instruments that kids want to play. Did you know that we have our very own kids’ ukulele club right here at Balla Balla Community Centre?
Catering for absolute beginners through to kids who want more of a challenge, our instructors make learning the ukulele fun. We also provide performance opportunities for kids that want to take their ukulele to the next level. Why not come and try (One Time) – $5

Come along to our ukulele club and learn from experienced local musicians in a fun and supportive environment. Catering for beginners through to more advanced players.

Get Your Art On – Kids Art Program – 6 years +
Wednesday 5th February for 8 weeks |4.30pm – 6.00pm Session Cost: $
A unique art program inspired by the idea of just having FUN, ‘Get your Art Onʼ aims to enrich, stimulate and develop a Childʼs confidence in creating artworks. With relaxed classes and all age activities each child will have the opportunity to create his or her own work in their own artistic style. Join us as we explore different and unusual colours, textures, materials, mediums and techniques to create our own works of art.
All materials included, please bring an art smock.
Friday 7th February for 8 weeks | 1.00pm—3.00pm

Have an unfinished projects that you are looking for the inspiration to complete? Why not join this self paced workshop to finish, or even start your personal craft projects, whilst meeting new people in a friendly space.
Boomerang Bag Project (Volunteers required)
Tuesday 4th February for 8 weeks | 9.30am—12.30pm
Session Cost: FREE
Why not get involved – join us on a weekly basis to make these sustainable bags that we can then donate on to local support organisations who would normally use plastic bags. It does not matter if you can or cannot sew. Come along and join this self paced, fun group. Learn new skills and make new friends.
All materials will be supplied. We do have some sewing machines but if you have one please bring it along.
