Empowering Women Workshop
Tuesday 16th March | 1.00pm – 3.00pm
Set aside 2 hours just for yourself. Take the time to focus on you and your life, no one else. What a treat !!! Areas to be covered include:
– The importance of self care, self acceptance and self love.
– Emotional intelligence: understanding and expressing your feelings.
– Setting boundaries and saying “No”.
– Make better decisions by learning to listen to your ‘gut/intuition’
Monday 1st February for 8 weeks | 7.00pm – 8.00pm
This group session will include guidance and instruction in the practices of meditation and contemplation. Come along and enjoy the benefits of meditation such as wellbeing and peace of mind. Beginner and experienced meditators are welcome.
Living Longer, Living Stronger – Strength and Stretch Training
Monday 1st February for 8 weeks | 1.00pm – 2.00pm
Guided by a Casey RACE qualified instructor the session will go through fundamental functional exercises, to help improve overall strength, endurance and core strength, using body weight exercises and resistance bands. The structured program will aim to develop balance and coordination, flexability and assist in activities from everyday life.
A great way for the participants to meet and interact with each other, and get to know and understand why exercise is such an important addition to everyone’s day to day routine
Wednesday 3rd February for 9 weeks
Beginners | 11.30pm—12.30pm | $72.00
Intermediate | 9.30am – 11.00am | $90.00
Tai Chi is a gentle, low-energy, physical exercise – the slow movements strengthens muscles, conditions tendons and ligaments in the ankles, knees, hips and spine. Beneficial for many health conditions, including arthritis, and helps to increase stamina, strengthen the body and mind, and ease stress. Please wear comfy clothing & runners and bring along a water bottle.
Heart Foundation Walk & Talk Group (Free)
Tuesday 2nd February | 9.30am – 11.00am
Walk & Talk is a FREE weekly walking group that meets at Balla Balla every Tuesday. Enjoy great self-paced walks, learn more about your neighborhood , meet new people in your area and get fit. Stay on after to enjoy a coffee and a chat.
Thursday 4th February for 9 weeks | 7.00pm – 8.15pm
Yoga gives you the tools to enable your actions to align with your deepest values and purpose. Our qualified instructor will lead you through a classical yoga session incorporating breathing and meditation. Through the consistent practice of yoga you can expect to feel stronger, more flexible, less stressed and balanced both mentally and emotionally.
Wear loose comfortable clothing. Bring your own mat, blanket and water bottle.
First & Third Wednesday of each month
